SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

This person should work as a "QA Test Engineer" contributing to the testing of Eurofins products.


Perform manual testing of web applications, web services in a client-server environment, as well as C# scripting for service testing.

Owning functionality and delivering on time. They should come up with different test flows/methods for the given scenario.

Experience with functional, database, ETL testing. Perform sanitary, functional, end-to-end integration and regression testing independent of SCRUM guidelines.


POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Job description:


This person should work as a "QA Test Engineer" contributing to the testing of Eurofins products.


Perform manual testing of web applications, web services in a client-server environment, and script .Net code to test services.

Follow all processes and complete assigned activities on time. They should come up with different test flows/methods for the given scenario. Keep supervisor/manager informed of progress.

Understanding of functionality, database, ETL testing. Perform sanitary, functional, end-to-end integration and regression testing independent of SCRUM guidelines.

Follow test strategies and test plans to ensure the delivered product is of high quality.

Collaborate with all stakeholders such as Development, QA, Project Manager, BA and field teams to achieve successful test coverage and quality.

Escalate and track all blocking issues in a timely manner and issue deviations from SOP etc.

Very good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.

Very good knowledge of .Net, SQL, automation with C#/ .Net (any work experience would be desirable).


Technical knowledge:


Good knowledge of the Test Management process.

Good knowledge of DB, SQL and understanding of UML.

Any experience in functionality / automation will be an advantage.

Knowledge and experience in TFS/MTM.

Should have clear knowledge/experience in scrum methodology.

Experience with API testing and automation of SOAP/REST services.

Good communication skills in English (concise writing and oral persuasiveness).

Independent, sensitive problem solver, initiator and proactive actioner.

Willingness to learn and constantly develop personal and technical skills.

Ability to work in an international environment and comfortable with remote communication using a wide range of technologies (documents and forums, phone, chat, email).

Excellent analytical skills that enable him/her to quickly identify gaps in testing, integrations.


Expectations in "QA Test Engineer" roles are:
