Job description :

As an Associate Software Engineer in our SaaS Platform Services team, you will be a key player in the design, development and maintenance of critical components of our platform. This role requires expertise in GoLang and the development, integration and support of shared platform services and technologies such as Identify and Access Management (IAM), API Gateway, Kubernetes and Kafka.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Help define and execute the technical roadmap for our core SaaS platform technology.

Work closely with technical teams to integrate these services with the rest of our platform.

Work closely with architecture and engineering teams to review project requirements, technical artifacts, and designs to ensure our platform meets the needs of our users.

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and reliable software components using GoLang.

Work with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements for platform services including IAM, API Gateway, Notification Services, and Message Bus.

Deploy and manage container services using Kubernetes.

Implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.

Education and Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, software engineering or related field.

At least 0-1 year of relevant experience in software development including experience with GoLang programming language.

Experience with container technologies with a focus on Kubernetes, experience with cloud platforms (eg AWS, GCP, Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Good knowledge of service-oriented architecture and API standards such as REST and GraphQL.

Knowledge of the design and implementation of IAM solutions is an advantage.

Experience developing and maintaining customer APIs is a plus.

Strong problem solving skills and ability to solve complex problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
