Job description :

Cornerstone is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to work from home.


Job title: Associate Software Engineer

Type of employment: Full time

Location: Work from home

Experience: Fresher – 2 years



Roles and Responsibilities:

Play a key role in the core functionality development of our enterprise SaaS product.

Responsible for coding, unit testing, implementation and maintenance of new and existing modules and applications.

Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) engineers through participation in the testing process.

Ensure long-term architectural and performance strategies are considered when designing and coding solutions

Ensure consistent product quality and customer satisfaction by helping to reduce customer defects.

Provide technical and functional leadership to the team as needed.

Collaborate as part of a project team to optimize the performance of complex software systems. Troubleshooting and troubleshooting.

Education and Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.

0-2 years of enterprise software development experience

Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, .net Core

Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in client-side frameworks such as ReactJS, jQuery, AngularJS, JavaScript

Strong understanding of development and design fundamentals in MS SQL 2017 along with exposure to NoSQL DBs such as Cassandra/MongoDB

Exposure to event frameworks such as Kafka

Strong analytical and object-oriented design skills

Strong debugging skills and experience in resolving issues reported by customers

Can thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment and deliver value incrementally and often

Dedicated to unit testing and automated testing of developed functions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain good working relationships.

Innovative, resourceful, passionate about creating high-quality, high-performance, highly available software.

Able to mentor junior engineers through pairing and coaching.
